Dit The body shop festive bodybutter trio bevat drie limited edition geuren speciaal voor kerst. Ik kan alvast verklappen dat de meest zoete geur mijn favoriet is.

The Body shop kerst. Lieverdjes, wáár moet ik beginnen? De hele collectie is opnieuw kleurrijk, magisch mooi, feestelijk en uiteraard, uiteráárd, betoverend lekker. Ook dit jaar zijn er natuurlijk weer de special Edition seasonal treats in de vorm van drie verschillende bodybutters in nieuwe geuren. Het gaat om Juicy pear, Rich plum en Warm vanilla. Juicy pear is de meest sappige en fruitige van het The Body shop festive bodybutter trio. De formule is verrijkt met onder andere cacoaboter, sheaboter, glycerine, sesamzaadolie en sojaboonolie. De peer vind je op de INCI-lijst terug als Pyrus Communis Fruit Extract/Pyrus Communis (Pear) Fruit Extract. Rich plum is mijn favoriet. Deze ruikt heerlijk zoet, je zou er zo een hap van willen nemen. De pruim extracten vind je terug als Prunus Domestica Fruit Extract. Deze bodybutter is verrijkt met babassu-olie, sojaboonolie en vitamine E. Warm vanilla tot slot is een heel warme en vooral ook ‘volle’ geur. De vanille-extracten vind je terug als Vanilla Planifolia Fruit Extract. Ook deze bodybutter zit weer vol natuurlijke zachtmakers. Zo is de formule onder andere verrijkt met cacaoboter, sheaboter, sesamzaadolie en sojaboonolie. Ondanks het feit dat de formules van de butters uit het The Body shop festive bodybutter niet helemaal hetzelfde zijn, vind ik ze persoonlijk qua textuur eigenlijk allemaal hetzelfde. Het gaat om heel stevige boters die een beschermend laagje op de huid leggen. Ik vind ze altijd heerlijk voor mijn droge benen. Je moet er wel rekening mee houden dat de bodybutters van The body shop niet heel snel intrekken. Houd je niet zo van een ‘plakkerig’ laagje op de huid, dan kun je beter voor een luchtige crème textuur of een lotion gaan. Naast het feit dat de stevige texturen super voedend zijn, blijf je hierdoor de geur ook erg lang ruiken op je huid.
